Question about Agostini V7-850 E5 Long Black Mufflers

I frequently use Ortlib soft saddle bags and carry stuff on the side of the motorcycle in folding baskets, so I am pretty sure that I want the long exhaust. However, my question is, does this muffler work with the OEM centre stand?

Will I need extra brackets or fabrication?

This is for a V7-850 Stone

Will you be purchasing from the GTM STORE link above?

That would be the plan.

It would be good if I could pick them up when I am in California this summer, however, I plan to be on the Guzzi, so I see no way to make that work. Plus, I will be in Northern California. Again, another reason that I wouldn't be able to pick them up in person.

But yes, I am planning to get them from you.

Very good. Mufflers are plug and play, and are noted to have no issues with bags. They are smaller than stock.
The center-stand usually comes with a stop as needed. It does not rely on the mufflers to do so. We have separate thread on it HERE.
A search is always best as noted top of every page.

Right, that is the thread that had me concerned. Things like:
Here's the supplied bracket after cutting off what I needed. . .
Here's the trimmed stop tang tack welded to the Mistral bracket.
After fully welding it I bead blasted and painted it.
I decided to cut out 1.5" from the arm and weld it back on. This was a bit tricky as I had to align. . .

I could go on with the quotes from that thread, but I think you see why it had me concerned. Yes, I have a welder; but no, I am not a very good welder.

Please don’t. Continue on that thread if needed. Some people like to tinker because they can. It is completely unnecessary. Otherwise no business would sell many of anything if it required such mods to work. Read carefully. ;)

Well, it's on the way! I will post pictures, but I do expect it to be a while, based on the posted lead times.

They arrived yesterday evening and I installed them this moring. It was a simple install. There is no such thing as a seat of the pants dyno. So, I am not going to say it is any faster. However, it sounds great.

As I have the MG mapping, with the latest update, I chose not to remove the Db Killers. All the same, it does what I wanted, it looks and sounds good.

I still haven't gotten around to installing the centre stand. There was a bracket in the box to help with that, as it stands, the box, with the bracket and OEM mufflers, are in the garage. As it stands, I am quite happy with them.
