I know there has been much discussion regarding the cams. I have seen several pics recently where the oil cooler on the 2012 Stelvios appear to be considerably larger than on the previous models. Having installed a Stucchi stone guard over my cooler, I can't help but wonder if I am restricting and already deficient cooler. (Deficient may be a poor choice of words, but you get the idea.)

You may not get an answer from Pete, he took a sabbatical.

As to the stone guard, the question is are you better off with perhaps a little less airflow, or with the possibility of a punctured oil cooler if you remove the guard? That decision is one you must make.

John Henry, I have the Stucchi stone guard on my oil cooler as well. I really don't think it will substantially interfere with air flow, but then I am not an engineer (and never played one in a movie...)

I am not going to worry about it in any event.

Oh well. I'm certainly not going to lose sleep over it. Nor am I losing sleep over the cams. Bike runs great. I'm happy.
