Hey all, I've got a few question in case anyone has experience with some of the following...

Bar end mirrors - I see lots of posts saying what might work, but does anyone know of anything that works that doesn't involve too much tinkering? I'd like to keep my shiny bar ends if possible.

Racer Seat - anyone know the price?

Racer valve covers - I'm assuming these would totally fit on the classic, right? Anyone know the price?

Lastly, I've got the factory rear rack, but am also looking to add a set of Hepco & Becker hard bags. I've seen only one post where someone said the side racks don't work with the factory rear rack. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

CRG Lane Splitter mirrors fit and allow the use of the stock chromed bar end weights. Simply mount the CRG mirror to a CRG bar end adapter (kit sold separately) and fix it AND the stock chrome bar end weight to the handlebar female threaded end. I would recommend a slightly longer hex head bolt to secure it best. Have a look at my posts in this thread and you should find a picture of one mounted.

The V7 Racer seat costs over $200 but less than $275 if my memory serves me. It has a suede insert and red stitching. The Cafe seat is more plain and costs less. They both are interchangeable with the stock one.

Hope that helps,

As for the racer seat. I ordered one for a1f racing for about $139 plus shipping. However, there is the usual 3-8 week backorder.

The CRG adapter doesn't work with the Solid V7 handlebars. It's made for a hollow bar (found out the hard way).

The best solution is to buy a rhinomoto bar end slider which has a groove cut out specially for the CRG bar end mirrors

as i said, one does not use the actual handlebar adapter but the actual mount that comes in the adapter kit....the mirror and mount screw right into the female threads found in the handlebars. if you don't believe me, have a look:

Anyone know what kind of mirror this is ? Thanks.

That mirror looks like a Rizoma, Italian and quite pricey....................However I believe out there in the land of Fleabay there are Chinese copies of the design.

Search for "bar end mirror" and you will find loads like it for around $25-30 from HK and China
