I have one of these on my 1100 Sport carb so I thought I'd see if I could fit one on the Griso. The stock horns weren't horrible but this one puts out 139db. It just fits under the cover.

To be heard over the conversation on the cell phone.

I fitted the Stebel Nautilus on the Norge. The factory horn is hardly worth fitting IMO.

Second that!
I fitted the 132 db Stebel Magnum as there was no space for the Nautilus on the Breva. That works quite well also. But +6db should sound twice as loud. Thats loud!

Is there one of these Stebel Horns that can mount easily on a Eldo? Do you need to alter the current? And what db is recommended?

Here's where I picked mine up at. They are local to me but they ship just as easy as picking it up in person.

You could mount this on just about any bike by making a small bracket or using a tab that is already on the bike. Its kind of a DIY mounting system. I had to make a simple bracket to mount it to my Sport 1100 but I only needed a longer bolt and a piece of fuel hose as a spacer to mount it to the Griso.
It comes with a wiring diagram and a relay if you need it. No special wiring needed

Louder is always better.

Cool, any idea if you need to change the amperage from the existing horn to run the wire to either of these?

If you're putting it on an Edlo with old wiring, I would use the relay and run a new power wire to the battery. You wouldn't want to let the smoke out of the old wiring.

Thanks for the help and info. Found a place online called Murphs Kits that had a Stebel HF80 Electromagnet dual horn + a wiring kit with relay that is supposed to make installation easy. I'll post pictures of the installation and hopefully not including my bloodied knuckles.
