Maybe someone can enlighten me here. I see all this talk about Guzzi contacting owners. My dealer told me the valve recall did not apply to my vin, fine( I have a copy of the bulletin, seems legit) On Saturday I was in there and he tells me guzzi decided to do them all. Why do you suppose I have not been contacted by guzzi by phone or by mail as the rest of you seem to. What gives? Puzzled once again!

No idea. I had to inform my dealer of the recall, but once informed they seem motivated to take care of it.

Yeah no problem with dealer, they are going to do it at the first service. Just no word from guzzi which strkes me as odd and has me wondering if I hadn't dropped in for engine bars(see other post) would I have found out at all. Dealer doesn't seem to be too familiar with the use of phones (initiating calls or the return of them). They seem more than happy to please when all 6'2'', 250lbs of my shaven headed ass shows up in person though, strange that is. HA Ha Ha(manic laughter) FBC.

I shouldn't bitch , they are good to me , nice people ,they know their product pretty well and they are enthusiastic about the Italian stuff. Without doubt the best bike dealer I've encountered. I hope the mechanics are as good... I' m kind of picky about that.
