To those that have replied, thank you.
Upon further research, I now understand more about this.
The original claim raising the engine and making handling 'lighter' raised flags to me and its more accurate to say ' moving weight further towards the roll axis reduces polar movement.'
The key here is realising where this roll axis really is and with conventional bikes it lies between the steering stem and the swing arm pivot and NOT the contact points on the road.
So raising or indeed lowering if need be, the CG towards that line reduces the amount counter steering input needed.

That Motus looks really neat, would love to see one in person.

They went bankrupt s few years ago. There are a few unsold units lying around that dealers are desperately trying to recover some of their money back on. Unfortunately buying one of these would be the kids of death as there are literally ZERO used parts available.

Something breaks and you are finished unless you pay $$$$$ to have a replacement made if even availabile.

Liquid Performance has a few hodge podge parts for the Motus on Ebay. Although the parts are new, you'd think they were made of gold judging by the prices.
