Should be nice and cool out for the first time in...well... a while. Anybody want to take advantage of it?

I'm thinking like 8:30 at starbucks, but totally open to suggestions. 818..261..6067

Think I'll take the Norge with newly installed PCV/Autotune/Hyperpro rear shock up Angeles Crest Saturday, heading out mid-late morning or so.

any chance i can talk you into heading out a little earlier?

I have never actually ridden the crest. It's either been too hot, or it's been closed.

I have stuff that needs doin' in the afternoon

Just came back to take a look, too late I guess. Be glad to run up there with you another time. It's a very different kind of road than in the SMM, mosly sweepers rather than tight stuff. Pretty cool & overcast here in Burbank, probably be much cooler yet up there. Good Norge weather. I'll take another look back here post hot tub. perfect hot tub weather.

Managed to catch Bob before he left, and talked him into waiting for Tessie and me to meet him at Newcomb's. Had a great ride to Wrightwood behind Bob, a tasty club sandwich and sweet potato fries, then a straight shot back to Sunland and on home. Bob and I are enjoying the fueling improvements we're getting with Todd's PC V/AT installation. Two thumbs up!

The ride down Upper Big-T was an absolute blast two-up as was the rest of the route across AFH and down Big T into Sunland. Passed three Harleys around the river crossing on Big T, the third of which got to see a little front wheel air from the Stelvio (two-up with loaded cases), groovin' by in second gear. What a great bike.

Got a call from Wallis just before I was about to leave, so we hooked up (Wallis with Tess on back), up to Newcomb's then lunch at Grizzley Cafe in Wrightwood, back along Crest. First extended ride on Norge post PC-V/AT & Hyperpro shock. I'm thrilled with both. PC-V/AT maybe as big an improvement over GT-X ECU as the reflash was over stock. Ran great, irrespective of altitude. Hyperpro was much more controlled, secure than stock shock, without being overfirm. Just what I was looking for in a bike that mostly tours, but should be capable in the canyons too. Much better. Gonna have to get out to the SMM soon, try it out there.
