got back from a trip and thought I'd enter a couple of thoughts - sober of course.
1. Used to be you could ride on Saturday and have the country roads pretty much to yourself. Sunday was the ride day and the day the CHP were out. Now Saturday and Sunday bikes are everywhere!
2. On the way to Montana recently I saw 1 moto guzzi in1400 miles - a v11 sport 23 miles east of Ashland Oregon on the way to Howard Lake or something like that. Used to see more I believe.
3. On the same trip I saw just bunches of Harley's - I mean tons. These were in the hinterland too -- a place where I'd never see a Harley 10-15 years ago. On the road from Libby Montana to Eureka Montana I saw 2 vehicles - both Harleys! This is a road I'd use to pride in not seeing any vehicles - cages or bikes - the whole way.
4. Some Harley's now wave back.
5. Some days my Stelvio does not vibrate at all and some days I'm numb in 1 hour. I have the NGK caps at home still - haven't had time to change them.
Accurate you think?
