So, for whatever reason, U.S. 250 runs from downtown Richmond, VA, to a side street of Sandusky, OH. Much of it is brilliant motorcycling roads. Three weeks ago I had to be in Chicago for a conference (Agile '09). I could have flown. Most people would have flown. But to me, it was an excuse for a ride.

So, I combined my business trip with the idea of riding a road from stem to stern. My friend Bob wnet with me from Zion Crossroads, VA, to Dennison, OH. Here are some shots of my trip--and the full slide show/gallery is here:

Great pix, Joe.

Looked at all of 'em. The shoulder looked interesting in the "straight & narrow" one.

Coming to Georgia campout next weekend?

Bill

P.S. Karen ever ask about who Molly was? ;)

she knows the song--I've forced her to listen to multiple versions of it (Bill Sheffield, Greg Brown (my favorite), Del McCrory, and of course Richard Thompson. "Red hair and black leather/My favorite color scheme," indeed.

No Campout for me--off to Toronto on Sunday for work. Again, another work ride. Back on Friday or Saturday, then to Charlottesville for a conference Monday/Tuesday, then to the Kentucky rally. Just finished changing oils (with offishul Agip 85W90, no less!) and am having my Roadsmart replaced in Toronto by Motoretta Eurosports.
