Anyone riding today? I have a new job starting Monday, and it will be 6 or 7 days a week for a few months, so today is my last day to ride. As usual, I will be SMM'ing on my griso, perhaps I will see some of you up there.
Cheers,
Jon

Glad to see you're helping with my social security payments again. :D Missed you when I was out, btw.. that dinner will have to wait.
So. Watcha doin?

Hi Chuck,
I sart Monday as the Director of Quality at a fairly large Aerospace company, but it is very busy, so I see 6 and 7 day weeks for the forseeable future.
Dont worry, your dinner invitation did not include an expiration date as I recall :D

Hey Jon,
I would ride for a while if you are still up for it. We have some things in common, I work on airplanes in Van Nuys. I had also sent you a PM on bar risers. Let me know. I am in Newbury Park.

Very kool. You haveta wear a suit and tie and look impotent??

Congrats on the new job Jon, glad to hear it. I actually had every intention of riding the SMM today, but it was very heavily overcast & misting at times here in Burbank so I never got out of the garage. Later when your job settles down a bit....

It was a nice ride. only 10-ish bikes at the rock store, but lots of leo's. Fotunately, my griso did not die until a mile from home, but that's what triple A is for anyway. Odd braking both battery leads on the same ride, but I did do some fairly serious wheelying in the cool weather

Wow, back to work. Was Bren just about ready to kill you?
Anyway, our business needs more Quality Master Minds...

Actually Bob, I may be looking for new digs in Burbank, the north side of the 5 freeway. Bren has retired, and I dont like the long drives, so some of the nicer areas in Burbank are looking interesting to us. When we start looking, perhaps you could provide some consulting..... My company is by the golf course at glenoaks and osborne, just down the street from hansen dam. I see the new development in burbank as a possible place to relocate too, plus I could ride the LA mountains not just the SMM's
Cheers,
Jon
