Folks, is there any interest in me stocking some Cali 5-spd trans "real deal" 14-ball, steel cage bearings? These are the ones that wear out/need replacing most often. The 14-ball bearings are unobtanium here in the U.S. -- The stock bearings are 9-ball per race, plastic cage.

Also, is there interest in either a V11 Sport or Tonti sloppage (windage) plates? These are installed in between the pan and the crankcases to eliminate oil movement (slosh) towards the crank, and in the case of the V11 Sports, it will keep the oil down and near the front oil pick up line, under hard acceleration. There were some serious earlier issues with the V11S' and oil starvation. Ropers plates have been verified to work very well by Greg Field with a oil pressure gauge. A good investment IMO.

Pete will expand on any questions I'm sure.

Todd,

Having those 14 ball bearings would be great. I've only been able to find metal cage 9 balls to replace the shitty plastic cage bearings that are now stock. Any idea on what the pricing would be?

John

John, the bearings would be ≈$100 US shipped.

Windage plates would be ≈$130 US shipped.
