Ross Family Annual Open House & Toy Run to St Clare's Home 2009

December 6th Sunday 2009 - 8 to 10 am
Holiday Open House with coffee, food and friends at Bill, Mani and Luke Ross’ home , then a ride to St Clare's Home headquarters at 10:30 to drop off toys, gift certificates, etc and give the mothers and children rides around their parking lot. Ride and lunch to follow….

A note from Ronnie Root:
First off I want to thank you for all you did last year! The women and children had a wonderful Christmas. This year we are much smaller than in the years past so I have set up a sign up list for women who have graduated and moved out to sign up for Christmas. Seeing that this is their first Christmas living on their own and supporting their family I felt that they would appreciate the helping hand during this time of year. Also I know that your ride to St. Clare's Home is the biggest hit of the year for our kids and mothers. I have already been asked by the children if you were coming this year so I know that they anxiously await your arrival.
We look forward to your visit this year and again I thank you for all you have done for St. Clare's Home.
Have a wonderful day,
Ronnie

We really look forward to seeing all of our friends and hope you can attend this year. Toys, department store gift certificates and cash or checks all are very helpful and appreciated by the shelter. Ronnie tells me that due to economic conditions, this may be the last year for the shelter. We hope not, they perform one heck of a job that reaches and helps many needy families. Come for as little or long as you like, all motorcycle brands welcomed.
We hope to see you soon and “Thank Everyone” for their past and future thoughtfulness and generosity.
Bill, Mani and Luke Ross

Info above, see you there... let's see if we can beat our attendance record of at least 15+ Guzzista from the past. Who's in?

Don, if bren is out of the hospital and able to look after herself for a day, i am all in.....

Our home will be warm with a roaring fire and great coffee and lots of eats for you hearty riders ! It will be cold but nothing like back east, Dress Warm . Rain prediction is 20% or less with increasing chance by nightfall. Everyone should be home by then... except the heartiest... ahem Todd...

looking forward to seeing old and new Guzzi friends !!!! Bill and Mani Ross

Bren got out of the hospital friday, but she's still needing some watching, enjoy your ride for a good cause, I will make a donation
Cheers,

Got up this morning at 6am to rain. Tried posting here that I wasn't going to make it, but as usual couldn't access this site. Again!

I started in my rain stuff and guess it worked...didn't get rained on! it was a very nice day the clouds were in the mountains everywhere else was nice. not a big turn out but it still was good and the kids had fun...thank you Ross family! it's great that you do this for st claire home, thanks for allowing me to be a part of it.

I can't believe a week has snuck by already... I didn't get back until the wee-hours of Sunday morning last week, so I couldn't make it. Rich I know you did, who else?

Hopefully the center survives, and the Ross Family can continue the tradition.

Words from Dan R - Euro Moto Breakfast Club;
Huge kudos to Bill and Mani Ross for hosting their annual St. Clare's Charity Toy Ride this past Sunday. This event has been established to benefit mothers and children from broken and abusive homes who, without Bill and Mani (and you) would have very bleak Christmas's. If you weren't there this year, maybe you can be there next year. Theresa Worsch was there and took a lot of pictures. It looked to me as though there was an excellent turnout. Thank you Bill and Mani for making a difference in these peoples' troubled lives.
