After looking at the weather forecast, we decided to do a little coastal road trip, which turned out to be pretty much superb. Some of the riding highlights: Loneoak between 25 and King City, Chimney Rock Rd, Vineyard Rd, Adelaida (these 3 near Paso Robles), then 46 over to the coast. Then ended up riding Nacimiento-Ferguson going westbound - was clear and warm, then south on 1 to 46 again, and then home. Tons of wind on 46....
I can't rave enough (have you noticed??) about what Todd and Price did to this bike - it runs, sounds, and looks just magnificent. It is an awesome sport-touring machine..... it was steady in all the conditions we encountered - a little black ice and sand, the wind, etc... and so sharp and strong overall.

Heh, well... I can't top the ride photos, but the scenery I can match. ;)

Glad you got out and enjoyed the day/rode.

We missed you today.

Well, Bob -
got the RC memorial Day weekend. it had about 700 miles on it. the odo quit at 4689 begiining of October. I figure i've put about 1500 miles on it since then - very rough estimate.... so total i've put about 5500 on it since i bought it? I'm looking for an OEM Moto Guzzi journal to write down my estimated mileage and gas put-in, whenever i gas up, till i get an odo system going at least. It's also fun, totally estimating my speed all the time - i figure it's making me learn the bike more?? So far, the only problems have been the odo and speedo, and the right rear wheel bearing going out, which might have been happening for awhile, coz it seems to hold a line so much sharper now, even aside from all the great stuff Todd did to it..... And wait till you hear them pipes. i might have to call you on the phone and play them for you. you'll probably hang up on me......
