Hi,
I have looked in my manual and there is no mention of how to go into the menu and alter the damping settings on my S model.I would like to make the rain mode a custom set up with much softer settings than standard.Anyone know how this is done please?

It is in the manual:

In riding modes (long press riding mode button on the right handlebar) you can select for each of them MGCS setting (A1/A2/M1/M2) A for automatic, M for manual, 1 for sport, 2 for comfort

And in the main menu (long press right arrow on arrow keys on the left handlebar) you can define every mode from A1 to M2

Settings are as follows:

The adjustment ranges of the registers vary between "Automatic" and "Manual"
and are:
"Automatic": -5 (Soft) / +5 (Hard)
"Manual": 1 (Hard) / 31 (Soft)

Thankyou,cannot find that info in my manual!

stromcat, The first section start is in pages 89-90 and talks about A1, A2, M1, and M2 settings. You need to get into the "Launcher" section first :cool: Then the section for manually adjusting preload in in pages 133-144.
Good luck. I am still trying to see how to get into the Launcher:rock:. A very confusing manual for my narrow-band brain.

Not in my owners manual.It does not even go up to pages 133 and 134,stops at 101!

I am also in the UK, and my manual stops at page 101. That also probably explains why I can't find the "Advanced Functions" chapter referred to in regards to setting a personal key code. I'll try the download now.
