I've come to the conclusion that the bikes venting system's ill equipped for my riding conditions with the rpm range that I operate in here in these mountains. Pulling up grades or even getting up over 80 MPH on the freeway on hot days it just dumps oil through the vent system. Can't make this bike work with my riding conditions, no way no how. Even with the vent out the back fender it sprays oil all over my back. Frock this. Put it back to stock set up and sell the turkey.

Heck my Bonneville's taxed and it's pushing at least 75 HP and more torque then the V7. Bu at least the bike's better assembled and designed then the Guzzi, no comparison what so ever, not even close.

I would never ever buy nor recommend one of these bikes to another person. The worst experience in my life ever owning anything with a motor on it. Unfreakinbelievable!!!!!!! which should be a new word in Webster next to Guzzi.

My neighbor just picked up a nice Honda CB500F with a double overhead cam and 5 speed transmission. He let me take it out for the day. That bike worked perfect on these roads, it can do 85/90 on the freeway all day long. No issue with breathers or anything else for that matter. They sell them cheap, I'll just pick up one of those once I sell the V7. This CB500F actually designed by a company that actually test their motorcycles under varied conditions. I don't need much but at least I would expect something close to basic operating abilities.

I'm also going to write a letter to my representatives in my area to try and have this company investigated and the import license revoked.

There may be a lemon now and then, and perhaps yours is one of them. I think it's safe to say it may be owner induced.
The V7 is Guzzis best selling model to date, and most are running around very happily. I see and service dozens, and have had zero issues with my V7 rental bikes, one 2013 and now one 2016 V7 II Stone.
Best of luck to you and your new machine ventures. Please end these type of posts.
