Have the large service warning and red triangle. 2008 1200 Sport, 51,400 miles. Road bike about 15 miles home with no noticeable riding change. Looked at menu, found 3 and 8 dashboard errors with A+M = 0 . Cleared faults. Turned bike off/on and service warning + red triangle came back. Below is dash diagnosis. Suggestions?
A M
1 0 x
2 0 x
3 0 0 Changes to an x and back?
4 0 x
5 0 x
6 0 x
7 x x
8 0 0

I assume A = active M - Memory

Am I screwed? Any hope.

Thanks,
Paul

Okay from doing a search here it seems to point to a oil pressure sensor switch. Any p.n. recommendations for a replacement? Anything else I need to check out?

Yip Yip. This forum is awesome. From reading old post that lead me to oil sensor I managed to pop the cap from side of bike and see that the connector was lose and corroded. I hit it with some electrical cleaner and tightened it as well as i could and service lite/dashboard error went away. I still need to pull tank/airbox for a proper fix and would like to replace the sensor anyway as long as I have it torn down. Would a call to AF1 provide recommended replacement?

Isn't it great to have a resource where you can answer your own question!! Any dealer on MG cycle should have the sensor.
