Just got it firing!
I got a shock today when I decided to adjust the valve clearances on my '08 B1100. One of the button head screws on the RH side that hold the valve cover (rocker cover to us Brits) on had siezed solid in the cylinder head, no amount of tapping, teasing, soaking with penetrant etc would shift it, eventually it snapped off and I now have to get it drilled out, the same happened to two on the LH side, the moral is always use anti sieze grease when putting these screws back. I wonder if this ia a common problem? By the way, the valve clearences were o.k. after I got the covers off.
