Hi,
I have a set of Guzzi soft pannier bags and racks for my Griso but they were bought 2nd hand and did not come with the spacers which fit between the front leg of the rack and the back of the footpeg mount.
Would anyone who has a set of these be able to measure the spacers - I believe they are just metal tubes which the bolt then fits through ?
Thanks
Gregg

I just looked at mine on the bike. They are two different lengths: 26mm on the left and 12mm on the right (approximately).

The one on the right is a simple metal spacer, essentially just a thick-walled tube. The one on the left is a rubber-covered spool, with a metal core.

Two other comments:

I don't really remember the installation process, and though I bought my bags and rack second hand, I think these are the OEM spacers. (But I don't really know.)

Whatever its provenance, I believe the left spacer is supposed to be longer than the right (as it is). I note that my left side bag just fits comfortably with my Guzzi-approved Termignoni silencer when I use this spacer. (Actually, it barely touches the bag, but this hasn't turned out to be a problem.) Some others (notably Vasco) have reported an interference problem with the same setup. Using the proper spacer might the explanation for my success. (I forget if this has been discussed before.)

I also happen to own a second set of racks for the bags, also second hand. But pulling those out I found they had no spacers.

26 and 12 mm pieces of pipe should do it.
