Solid state regulator for Bosch

Hello,

Found a local rebuilder of alternators and starters that is also a Bosch dealer. They got me a Chinese made solid state regulator for $23 and it charges at 14.3v instead of 13.8v. It is Transpo brand, #IB 305-1 and it replaces Bosch 0 192 062 002 regulator (1983 LM III). It bolted right in and used the same connector. The counterman said despite the Chinese manufacture they have a good reliability.

Bosch RE55, 56,57 are all similar solid state regs, one is three pin, one is two pin (Earths through the mount.) and one has a removable resistor to up the charging voltage but they all do the same job. Cost is similar to your price.
