I have a 2009 Griso 8V. What are the numbers for the sparks plugs? On the NGK site they do not have a listing for the 8V motor.

Have you done 40,000 miles already!

hey're a platinum plug. On cars they have a 100,000 Km service life. Why would your engine need them changed more often?

Offhand I can't remember the number but unless you've done high miles or are having a problem I'd simply inspect and re-install.

Hi,

some like to change parts, because it's always done before... with older bikes and cars.
NGK PMR8B is the NGK number, cheapest at E-bay.
But if you have to much money, donate here to this forum or to Pete (?)... (or me...)
No, change if you have a failure, otherwise put them back.

Regards.

It is rather embarrassing, I actually bought a set of NGK PMR8B packed for the Ferrari F430. So, that’s 8 new spark plugs in my tool box now. Enough to outlast the life of both me and the bike if I change them at 100,000km interval.

Don't laugh ;)

B) Hey Phang I'm not laughing, just smiling, cos a little while back I bought an auto pack of four for the T3 only to find they had non screw off nipples on the plug cap end and so I couldn't use em. Luckily they fit the Izuzu :)

I bet the dumpster at Ferrari/Maserati service center has plenty of relatively new NGK PMR8B spark plugs for our 8V engine to recycle.
