I had seen something about this. But a search didn't really reveal any good info. Maybe it was on the old board.
Got on the bike to head home (it had been raining) and after about a mile the red triangle it up and it displayed SERVICE on the dash. Thinking this might be an oil issue or something I pulled over. That is when I realized that the speedo was sitting at zero all the time.
After getting home, simply turning on the key shows 'service'. I went in and cleared any codes, and it remained.
So does a wet speedo sensor cause a dashboard 'service' indication?
Is there a fix for a wet sensor?
