Hi Antonio

Did this nice new Norge just have a wash?

Grisos & Stelvios have poorly sealed speed sensors that give that error when water enters where the cable enters the hall sensor that is mounted inboard the Carc and it may be the same problem for you

It usually dries out and begins working again but the leak needs to be sealed then or the problem returns or becomes permanent

The Norge uses the ABS sensor for the speedo, and not the same crap as the other models.

So in this case, there is another problem. Error 56 means Vehicle Speed Error, so not that helpful.

Assuming the bike is new Antonio, take it back to the dealer and get it fixed. It could be many things, so impossible to diagnose on a forum like this.

before you do anything, if you're frugal like me. disconnect the battery. make sure all the coneccnection are dry and reconnect the battery, you may find all is well..... a guzzi sitting in a hot sun for a few hours is not a bad thing..... guzzi's do not like water

Sorry I misunderstood:blush:
I assumed the Norge still used Hall effect sensors on the wheels to feed speed info to the ABS system and that those sensors were prone to moisture problems.
My bad:unsure:

They do use Hall effect transducers, but not the same ones as on the non ABS bikes. These seem a little more watertight, though it is still possible that one has gone down. You ould probably need some ABS diagnostics, which can really only be done with an Axone.

similar issue on my B11 which the dealer says is a result of dead (i.e. at end of life) battery. I think the water thing has alot to do with it though...............:S
