Okay guys, here's one I haven't come across before - crumbling of the sheath on stainless steel brake lines.
On my 2012 Griso, both front lines below the headlamp where they bend backwards leading to the calipers, have begun crumbling away. This of course allows water and road grime ingress between the clear sheath and the stainless braid making for a very unsightly discolouration.
I've sent the photo and relevant email to the dealer from whom the bike was purchased in August 2012 (low km demonstrator) to hopefully resolve the issue under warranty. We shall see!!!
Resolved 12_7_14 under dealer warranty. New hoses installed = happy.

im afraid that the climate over here in london is not ideal. my bellagio is suffering from the road salt. i can only guess on yours that water or something has kept in there. hope you get your bike clean and back to spec soon.
