Installed the MG Cycles skid plate, sump guard. Very nice quality but needed spacers to fit 100%. Added handlebar ends, GPS mount, GIVI bags as well. A very fun day! New 2009, put 1st mile on bike a few weeks ago.

Sending ECU to Guzzi Tech and adding PCV this weekend. Have Agostini SS exhaust but have to wait for the reflash. With down time, sending rims to Woody's for polishing and installing Mefo AV tires. They did the work on my Versy and is my favorite bike. Will send pics when all back together.

Changed to C-Bow bags from the the velcro bags in this pic. Wish they were available for the Stelvio.

Yes, already in the works. Send the wheels to Woody's to have polished and will have Kenda K761 Dual Sport's installed. Like the Mefoe, but the 50/50 bias of dirt/street is too aggressive.

did you polish your headers?

did you polish your headers?

I think those are stock, they look the same as on my 2008 1200 Sport - you can clean them up with some 0000 steel wool, they don't scratch. They are usually bronze but will also blue and/or spot due to heat, dirt, bugs, plastic bags ....

On our NTXs, I think the headers are coated as they have a texture and appear to stay one consistent color. Still breaking mine in so I'm not positive.

Thanks for the reply. the reason i ask is that my bike is a few months old and i am already get spots on the header near the cylinder head. i will try some steel wool and see what i can clean off.
