Stelvio Euro Turn Signal Conversion

Just discovered an interesting tidbit about the Stelvio. The painted "plugs" in place of where the Euro turn signal fit in the fairing are not plugs but actually painted over turn signals ! You can fingernail the edge of the paint and pull it off like tape to reveal a lens and turn signal unit complete with bulb. All you have to do is run the wires to them.

Doing this and replacing the turn signal mirrors with the much less expensive plain mirrors will save $$$ if you drop the bike while riding trails etc.
 
I just checked mine, and all I have is the lense. No bulb, no wires. Only an open hole.
 
Oh well, sorry guys. I guess they were short of the plugs the day they made this one. The whole socket and bulb is there. Its worth a check before ordering the euro fixtures.
 
After breaking the right hand mirror / turn signal assembly and finding out it's $140+ I did some searching on the forum and found out that MPH in Houstion, TX sold a Euro kit for the Stelvio for about $115 - $120 shipped.

It included two lens, two sockets with bulbs and two mirrors. It was plug and play :D :D :D
