The warranty on the 2010 is over this coming July. Has anyone purchased an extended warranty? Is it available through Moto Guzzi, or are there options? Is the expense worth it? I guess that would really depend on what broke though!

Thanks...

Robert

The PO of my B11 boarded it with horses and so was a little rough cosmetically. An extended warranty clinched the deal for me though. So, I say there's some resale value with an extended warranty.

When the time to make a claim on the warranty came. I learned how these warranties work. They are much more like an insurance policy than a manufacturer's warranty. The repair amount paid can not be more than the value of the bike and the pay out is cumulative. It worked out for me fine though. If I had not had the ext warranty, I would have learned to replace a failed bearing in a CARC or waited for one to pop up on flea bay.

Well seeing how this is July ... and my factory warranty ends on the 15th, I went shopping for the extended warranty.

Got a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty for $1170.00. Peace of mind for the next 5 years (Ahhh).

what warranty - does guzzi offer warranty ???? if so what brand of Cracker Jacks do you buy to find a warranty card to fill out. LOL
I think all the that the young lady answering the phone down at Piaggio is doing while your talking is filing her nails and the word warranty sounds like WAR - WITH - HER - PANTIES after having a PEE
Glad you guys are paying to cover your butts :D
