Stelvio NTX electrical

And still living up to a "Great bike but who the Hell is putting these things together and why aren't they in prison?"

100k, so it sounds like the problem was at one or both of two relays. First, I'm damn glad your are going through this trouble shooting process and not me!; Second, When you get a chance please post photos of exactly where these relays live so the rest of us can learn from your agony. Some dark night I might be stuck on the side of the road and remember your solution, you will be my hero!

I'll take pictures in a week or so I'm waiting on an ECU rubber boot code 883968. I'll have the side covers off. at that time I will take a look at the dealer installed ground wire from the ECU ground lug to the ABS servo/module it is probably a connection under the tank. I was told it was installed to improve bonding. they install it on every Stelvio. So I'll try to get good pictures next week.

I once had a no start after stopping for lunch and was by pure luck, able to find the ECU ground bolt was not screwed all the way in. When I tried to tighten it more, it wouldn't go. I removed it and was able to thread it in from the other side and clear the threads. (Factory paint on the frame? I dunno). Was able to remount it and seat the bolt and ground wire all the way. :x

Hey guys. I'm starting to get a charging issue too. Kind a weird. I disconnected the running lights completely and still have a problem. I notice that the turn signals are the first to stop working when it runs low. Any one else get this response? Yes, I checked all the fuses...

Don, your battery is suspect since it leaked early on. Load test it, or best to just replace it, even if under warranty for now provided the new battery is put into service properly.
