Stelvio performance mods

I have a question for anyone who might know about mods done on my bike. I swapped a Griso for a 09 Stelvio at Pro Italia. i liked the Griso but I traded up for sure. The Stelvio is black and has a Todd (Egan?) exhaust, opened air box, Power Commander 5, and Auto tune. The bike has a ton of weight removed and runs fantastic! It runs, and handles soo much better than the Griso, and takes on the bumpy roads like a champ. The suspension is Pensky rear and forks were worked also, (Alveno?) these mod combinations work so well, with the Conti dual compond street tires. Everyone that rides it comes back with "better than a Hypermotard". Plus it tours bitchin. I have Ducs other Guzzi's, (had) a Triumph Tiger 1050, SE lots of bikes but So far this is so fast and handles so well that I would like a new NTX and do the same mods. So my question is, does any body in So Cal know who is responsible for this set up? I would like to throw them a new NTX for the same set up. Thanks ~T~

Congrats on your new pony!
Not sure it makes much sense to compare the Griso with the Stelvio tough; quite different types of machines and riding style/philosophy...
Of course, in the best of all possible worlds, one would own both!

Ted, congrats! You got a good one for sure.
I did all of the work on that bike (and know the former owner quite well) and many others from the group known as "the clubhouse guys" a few blocks away from P.I.
I'd be happy to be of help in getting the new NTX sorted equally as well. Acevedo is the local suspension guy (formerly of RaceTech), who simply adjusted the front forks/suspension. The forks are not user serviceable outside of spring and oil replacement. Happy to be of help/service via direct e-mail; Todd at GuzziTech.com

Todd, I had a feeling you were the one responsible for me having so much fun in the twistys and not being able to keep the front end on the ground. I had no idea I would have so much fun on a Stelvio. The pipe is yours? Still available? Just want to let everyone know that those Stelvios can run and handle if you get Todd to set them up. I bought a V7 Racer from the guys down there that I'm selling now as well as a tricked out 06 Ducati Sport Classic. I guess you did more than one, as I met another one of that group of riders who had a Stelvio just the same. This was set up for canyon racing, me thinks.
As far as compairing the piped 2010 Griso, that Ed M tested (smoked the tire) and wrote a review on, I picked up in S.F. The Stelvio with the same engine is much faster, handles much better, rides the rough roads smooth, tours better, two up better, around town better and I get more compliments on looks. I can compare them and I'm not interested in going back or adding a Griso to a 8 bike garage. The Stelvio is much more usable, and I find it very good at several things and the Griso just ok at a few things. Thanks Todd we'll talk and i'll donate.

Thanks again, they're runners when set up properly. The pipe is still available, yes, see this link; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/produc ... ay-31.html
I love when these bikes stay in the family here at GuzziTech. Thanks in advance on any donation, and indeed talk soon. Ping me direct e-mail any time; Todd at GuzziTech.com
