Just took delivery and I want to install some handguards. No one has been able to tell me if there is a two point attachment set that will fit the bike. Does anyone know anything about this?

Congrats Dave. Hope you’ll add your info to the Registry/Pic post.
There is nothing official, so you’re on your own to source something from the off-road world.
If you are using it mostly for weather protection, and not off-road, I can get you a set of Acerbis Dual Road guards that mount to the bar end only.

Tks, but I do want a fully braced guard. I spend a fair time on dirt roads and eventually they'll come in handy.

Greetings,

My dealer was able to adapt a set of Stelvio guards to my Stone.

Tks for the ideas. I am leaning toward the Barkbusters. My hesitancy is purely the hassle of buying something sight unseen. I probably don't have any choice.

Success! I ended up buying a set of Cycra CRM Ultra Probend bars for $85. I also purchased a set of their U-clamps. They mounted like OEM stuff. They are billet aluminum and i'm sure more than robust enough for my use. The only thing I needed to do was replace the bar end screw for a longer piece.

!!! The ProBend looks nice!!

I am slowly *keyword slowly* turning my stone into a scrambler...so far got the pegs coming and some cheap China made handguard

The one you got looks a shit lot better looking and a lot more sturdy!

Thanks.

I installed BarkBuster Storms; I've used them on other bikes. They are sturdy and large - decent wind protection when it's cold. Their website recommended some that were center mount only - that would work for wind, but I wanted protection for the levers in a tip over - have broken too many. I got a model that mounts at the bar end only; I feel that they will protect the levers and be sturdy enough. I did have to modify the bar end weights, changing the cone to a round boss.
