Just wondering if any of you Keyboard Cowboys does any motorcycle riding anymore...

Hey - been doing a good deal of riding. Did a 400 mile run last Sunday with a short 200 mile trip last Thursday. Was up in the hills today as well. I suspect I'll be out and about Saturday (possibly Green Valley) and probably a bit on Sunday as well. Where you going to be?

jdg

I was going for somewhere down San Diego way...but a buddy just called and said that GMR is looking good, so that looks like the destination...

Hey Mike, I'm meeting Margrave at the Topanga and Ventura Starfugs at 1 PM. Show up for a ride. Your absence will be your admission (finally) that you're gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Your pal,

Kevin

Hey Mike, so I showed up at the starbucks like I said I would and guess what... no you. I'm sorry to have to out you like this, but hey that's life. Still love ya man (just not in that way).

your pal,

Kevin

That's cool...Next time.

Anyhow, I ended up running into Wild Bill Kerrylow over at Cook's Corners on my way home..

Hadn't seen Bill in a coupla years, at least..

It was good to see him again.

He was on his Norton.

Re: The "outing"...

Yer just sore because that Turkish Aircraft Carrier was in town when you were off on your RuPaul roadie gig..

SoCal Don and Lupo had a Grand time, I hear...

They spent Saturday afternoon playing: "Eat the Humus, Hide the Torpedo"

 :woohoo:

Yeah... I saw your other post. Always cool running into Bill. Did you happen to ask him if he still has his old Eldo?

You know, I did not...

We talked about his Norton and his new Ducati ST2 having taken a shyt (spun a bearing) with only 7K Miles and it being out of warranty and Ducati giving him crap about it....and then we went off on some other tangents like his old and better forgotten VTX and his Superhawk..and how he'd like another one of those so he could take the engine out of the Honda and put it in his Ducati.. And also about a complete , running 1958 Triumph he just got for a song ...

And the time flew by and the Eldo never came up...It was like it was always one bike away in the trail of thought..

I figure that he still has it, and it's giving him no problems; otherwise he would have made mention of it...

Oh, Yeah...one more thing..He's built another cannon.

You can see it on YouTube under: OverkillBill
