Okay, time to get this SW area moving again after an entire month of no posts. Anyone interested in a ride up Angeles Crest early next week? Say Monday or Tuesday? Supposed to get a little warmer.

Mike, you're right - can't believe there's been no (mentioned) action after a month of spring/summer temps.

Can't remember whether I'd told you, but I found out last Saturday that Newcomb's will be closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays all this month; not enough customers to make ends meet. And if that works well for the staff (meaning that traffic those days continues to be very light), they'll be keeping it that way at least until Spring hits.

Let's hope you're spot on, regarding higher temps - last Thursday and Saturday were both very cold days on the mountain.

Mike, thanks for the post to stir the pot. I was getting out during the week here in the SM's during the nice weather we had the last few weeks. Be careful up there on the Crest... but keep riding and posting.

Hey Mike, how about Tuesday at the Shell at 10:30, and we'll go ACH to AFH to the 49er in Acton? While I prefer the ride to Newcomb's, I don't really fancy hanging out in an empty parking lot in front of a closed establishment.

Mike, sounds good. I was too occupied yesterday with a 6-year-old munchkin to even look at the forum - sorry for the late response.

Shell @10:30!

Something tomw morn will likely prevent me from getting to Shell by 10:30 or so. You pretty sure to wind up at the 49er in Acton? If so maybe I'll run it backwards, meet you in Acton. I'll call or text Mike tomw AM when I am more sure about things. In any case do not wait for me, too unsure. Prob be on Norge if I manage to get out.

damn, I read this thing late this morning. I guess I haven't looked at it for the last couple of days. I'da been there if I'd been on the ball! Maybe next time.
Bare

Had an absolutely great ride today with Mike and Rich R. Good weather, good food, no traffic, no LEOs.
We ride every week, Bare, usually on weekdays, so feel free to join us sometime.

I had fun today too -- it was especially nice to have all my suit's vents open again! The Stelvio's on rails! Hope the temperatures hold for a while -- the STR gets new shoes on Friday.
