Three of the five LED's, on one of the two 5-LED ring patterns on the taillight do not work except when the brake is activated, then they work fine. It is the right side ring. You can see them faintly glow a bit but that it is. They light up great with the higher voltage brake light power applied, just not with the lower voltage taillight (running light) itself. Are these replaceable bulbs? Any idea what may be occuring?

If you check the parts manual, I think you will see that you replace the assembly.

The LED's are failing. Perhaps you can find a small shop that does this type of repair... Maybe search automotive LED repair. Post if you find any.
As John states above, it's a complete replacement otherwise.

I had a similar problem plus there was condensation on the inside of the lense (2014 NTX), got the rear light replaced under warranty but if it happens again (out of warranty) I will look at effecting a repair.

So Moto Guzzi just replacd the light assembly under goodwill. They have been very good to me as a brand that supports their product. Mine had condensation as well inside. Dang, makes me long for the days of replacing a standard automobile style light bulb instead of fancy LEDs.

Somewhere some numbskull is looking at a spec saying "LEDs will last for the life of the vehicle".
That bozo forgets about water getting in, the lens may crack, or a surge may destroy the LEDs. Then you are out of luck. I hate that design thinking.
