In for pound or several............decided to go to the Guzzitech PCV upgrade.
Retaxed the bike from March, started riding to work on it, giving the Honda rest, but after a week or so I got pretty fed up with it performance, stuttering, flat at 4k, unpredictable especially with the varied weather below freezing to quite mild. It had been like that last year, but I didn't use it much apoart from in the good weather, this year will be different.
So the ECU is winging its way to California, the bikes in bits in the garage for hopefully only a couple of weeks.
Always wanted to pull off the bodywork to see whats underneath. Most came off quite easily, took about an hour to get the ECU out.
How many different connector typess are there in the loom, must be over a dozen . I gave them a clean and a squirt of ACF50 as some were shown small signs of verdigree - that green corrosion on copper.
Tank is tiny, could have been bigger with little effort or they could have put another cubby hole on the left as well.
Can't wait to get it all back together again and have a reliable, well fueled bike.
Is there designatioin for the original version liek a mark 1 Stelvio..........maybe we should start and call it first generation, 1G like a well known tech company does with their i things
