So I have a Termig pipe arrived for my 8v Griso. It is heavier than I imagined. Should I be taking oout stuff like the cat and baffles, or is it just that heavy!!

It does look awesome.

That would sort of defeat the purpose. The Termi was engineered to perform optimally with a stock Griso. It'll be a little louder and may offer a very slight performance boost. Don't take anything out unless you plan to change fueling by flashing the ECU. If that's your plan, you're in the right place and Todd can help. I'd suggest installing the Termi and riding it for awhile to see how you like it.

Your bike will run best with the cat installed and the dB killer in place. Removing either will rob it of both power and torque and probably produce a midrange flat spot in the torque curve.

Thanks for the replies all.

I have an aftermarket pipe on now which only seems half the weight of the Termi one. The Griso seems to running really well, but the Termi pipe just looks so good.

I will put it on today on see how we go.

The Termi should be pretty decent as to a direct swap since it has the cat-con. You can ride around and ignore all of the fueling issues, but not the heat it generates. Happy to be of help should you decide to correct the fueling.
