Thanks to Dave from New Zealand for sending the stand. Arrived today. My home fabricated mount was spot one except had to grind less than half a mm from the stop that I made for the left. Had to guess where to put it so happy with that.

What I wonder though is what is the stand supposed to butt up to? - the bumper rubber has nothing to touch on- my stand sits on the spring underneath the GPR pipe I have.

My Staintune (and I think, the original muffler) have an elbow welded to the bend in the exhaust. The rubber stopper rests against that.
 
Get one of Todd's Reverse Cone Mufflers, sounds much better than a Staintune - just saying - it's what I have. But then again, what's wrong with what you have?
 
I like the GPR pipe but it is a tri oval and hangs down too low. Scrapes in corners and has a hole in the front. :( A circular pipe like the stocker would have a lot more clearance. Pic of previous owner- look at the pipe! :( 18902182 1383233625077751 279551296 n
 
A short extension would move it back further, Tony. Cheap solution. And probably more torque down low...
