Went for a ride this afternoon, and had to frequently stop and reattach my throttle cable connector as the clip would pop out of the slot it's supposed to live in and the connector block holding the 2 cables would swing loose. It got to be a tad frustrating, not to mention dangerous so I'd like to get it sorted out!
I'm wondering if there is a) not enough tension on the cables to keep it snug, as the connector block which slots up into the throttle housing moves a lot when the throttle is rotated, b) a better type of throttle that is not so cheap and plastic?
I've attached a pic of the throttle and one of the top on the RHS carb which I think shows the required space between the adjuster nut and slide housing.
Any advice on how to sort this out would be appreciated!
Thanks!
