Just got it firing!
I am turning my lemans 3 back to the original saddle setup; there is now a polyester kit mounted by the previous owner.
Now, the original saddle can be tilted after releasing the lock, but only to a very small amount (approx 15 cm at the side of the tank). This is because the number plate holder touches the rear tire. There is a rubber spring in the lower attachment nuts, but they do not give enough space to tilt the saddle to a point where the saddle rod can be put in place without bending the number plate holder. Is this normal?
