Hi all! My wife bought me a TomTom 42 for Christmas ''to bring me home'', lol! Problem is the MG part B064243 bracket only fits the TomTom range with a squared off lower edge to its mounting whereas all the TomToms after April 2015 have a round mount.
True, I could use the TomTom bracket with multiple bits and a badly matching u-bolt and I could saw, file and grind away the B064243 but not before I find out if MG made a later bracket.
Can anyone advise, please?

Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill, not sure if yours is the same as mine but this is what I came up with. A small right angled bracket attached via a slightly longer bolt where the screen bracket mounts to the top of the fork. A ram ball mount fixed to the bracket and a clamping piece to attach TomTom ball mount to the ram ball mount, if all that makes sense. The TomTom mounts along side the speedo just behind the bars.

I did post a while ago under GPS/Phone Mount, this is the unit I have which I think is a lot neater than the U bolt supplied with the TomTom kit.
The clamp is normally supplied with a ball for Garmin units but they swapped it out for a Ram ball for me at no charge.

Many thanks, Robert. I just checked out the Vizonx.com site and now that's my second best option to an MG bracket, -- which is fast becoming something of a holy grail. I guess you have to keep a sense of humour with Moto Guzzi, but I am learning fast. Bit different to my ST1300 Pan previous bike!

This bracket was on my bike when I bought it. I just swapped Garmin docking for new TomTom
