Too Quiet

Hi Everyone, this site is way too quiet. What the heck is going on? Are you all out riding and enjoying yourselves? Damn, lucky bar stewards...

I thought the bears were hibernating this time of year, I logged in one day last week and all 15 threads were related to the Cali14. It was like the big bears are the last to go to sleep.
The alternative was this site has become a cruiser club like that other V-twin.

Staying silly busy building new stuff, and sending rental Guzzis out the door. This too is the beginning of our riding season as well since the hot weather is going away.

Other then work, which always seems to consume too much of my time, around here the riding season is winding down, but this is my favorite time to ride.
Took the wifes Lario on a ride last weekend. What a cool motorcycle.

Yes I was out the whole day 6.30 am - 6.30pm ...had to fill up twice (best part of 400).... Nice full English at the Alton Station Bikers Cafe now I am all biked out.

In the process picked up my Almax series 3 (unbolt cropable security chain)

Hi Tony,

I am the "new guy" here. I recently purchased a used 2014 California Touring (dressed up like a Touring model). It should be on a truck and making its way to me soon. I am sure I'll have many questions after I get to put some time in on it, but like some others here my riding season will be closing down soon. I am hoping for some warm days yet so I can get a few miles on it before it has to be put away for the winter.

Awesome, Mackers - wish I had been able to go! Unfortunately this particular weekend is my wife's birthday and I dare not! Seems to happen every year for some reason...

Shout her a trip to visit her mother or other destination she will enjoy for her birthday. Just watch out you don't get dragged in to go too!

There are only three rallies that cater for the MG enthusiast in Australia (unfortunately). These are the Ruptured Budgie (QLD), the Ragged Fringe (NSW) and the Spaghetti (VIC). There are some bi-annual get togethers and other spur of the moment events, but not official rallies. Just one year I would like to make all three...

I'm back on here now, couldn't get logged in for ages after the site was updated-to be honest though I didn't try that often at first as it was summer up here and I was out riding :) Winter is kicking in now though so it's going to be more tinkering than riding, mostly I'll be working on the XS650 that I'm building but the Guzzi will get some attention too :)

We, of the Enginati Superiorisis Ventriculis Guzzisti, tend to be rather subdued, compared to our vociferous brethren, the somewhat delusional, albeit, with flashes of great creativity: The Illuminati Guzzisti :

There, you will find plentifferous opportunities for mental mendaciousness.
However, if you find that; to be above & beyond your expectations, and solely wanted a garden of tranquility, in which to express your thoughts ;
You should aspire to join: Squadra Guzzista :

and immediately immerse yourself in that font of inspiration, brought upon us by Bacchus, the most venerated of all conversations among intelligent men, all over the world:
The Beer Thread.
Then, once fulfilled, you will be able to rejoin our illustrious community, here !
With lots of newly found energy and worldly enthusiasm !
Thus relieving you of your sense of boredom !
