Hi Guys,

Just seeing everyone's options for top box's

I am looking at the Givi Trekker 58lt with givi backrest and bracket- just to keep with the theme of the factory NTX panniers.

Firstly is the box removable on the givi bracket (looks pretty agricultural) or should I get a different bracket to a totally different box?

Also I have a bagster tank bag coming, cant wait!

Feedback is appreciated.

Cheers,
Tristan

Hi Tristan, all of Givi's top boxes are removable, and the bracket can be used stand alone without the box. I feel Givi makes some of the best and easiest bags and mounts in the business, which is why I sell them in the Store. I'm still finishing up my tank lock ring for the Stelvio to accept the Givi tank lock bags; one lever release and don't touch the tank at all.

I have a SWMotech Trax topbox which is the same as the panniers. I made up square tube mounting brackets that fit into the recess of the rear sub frame casting. I have mounted the trax mounting plate to these. I'm very happy with this setup. I use the 38l topbox daily and add the panniers when touring.

I would highly recommend the givi trekker boxes and pannier set up, I put a set on my caponord when they first came out a few years ago I would rate them better than the traxx units that come with the stelvio. If I needed top box and panniers for another bike I wouldn't hesitate to spend my money on the givi ones
