Traveling to Mandello Del Lario

Definitely take the train to Milano!
Take the “high speed” ferry to Bellagio...
At the main lake road around where the Bellano police station is go between the buildings... there is more stuff...
In Mandello there is a Carlo Guzzi museum where where he was “tinkering “ pics I made in the basement of the building
Also the building where the first Guzzi was built..
it’s all in the old town with very small roads

Police station in Bellano! (neighboring village) not Bellagio!
Go to the cemetery in Mandello and look for Carlo Guzzi’s grave.. There are many other interesting Gravestones with motorcycle legends and history...

Most of the places are going up hill the road from the Guzzi factory and then hang left ... I think...
we are always walking for hours and find places behind closed gates and then we just ask... and we were always welcome...

Be aware of little gas stations with no personal...
We couldn’t get our cards to work at many of them... fill up early..
