I was given an invite to the TT '22 Ride. The ride is an informal group of guys from mostly Qld. Australia. The ride started with 25 riders at Canungra near the Gold Coast Qld, ( I had a 600 km / 370 m ride to get to the start ;) and headed to Glenn Innes, New South Wales via Casino & Grafton. We stayed over night there, with the next day 3 different groups set out for different routes. I chose the dirt ride. The group for the dirt road consisted of 10 bikes, a few BMW's ( one R100 Road bike), a KTM, a Triumph, a KLR 600, and me on my NTX Stelvio. The ride encompassed good bitumen, twisty single lane mountain ranges, dirt mountain range roads, etc, basically most kinds of riding that you wish for. It was a great few days out.

The rough roads took a toll on a few bikes with bent rims. The KLR 600 rear rim was showing the inside from the outside, ooewwh!

Also a couple of the 800cc BMW's bent rims as well. It was not a reflection of poor wheel quality, just a case of Aussie roads, and what happens if you don't dodge the big pot holes.

An interesting aspect is that most of the riders are church pastors! The ride returned to Glenn Innes where we stayed another night, discussed how the various rides went. Others did a 550 Km road ride loop, with others going to a museum in a near by town which apparently is awesome. With a few bent rims and a couple of flat tyres, it was a good result with no one crashing over the few days and a couple of thousand kilometers.
Thanks to Steve Kennedy for organizing.
