TT turned NTX on the road in Europe!?

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

interesting concept, bags on top of the panniers. Let's hope the Stelvio's frame is more up to lugging loads like that than the GSAs on TLWR ...!

Nice pictures Louis, is that the original screen, I'm thinking of getting a bigger one for mine, about 4 inches taller would be fine, I know Givi do one in the UK but thought I'd look around first before I made my mind up, cheers g

Elvisto, it is not the original screen. This one is a bigger one and about 3 inches taller, but it might be a little taller for my comfort.
With this bigger screen in the highest position is the best way to ride, in lowest position it sucks. Now i am gone to look for a little spoiler to mount on top of the screen and see if that will be perfect.
The bigger screen should be for sale at TLM in Holland.

About the bags on top of the panniers. These are expansionbags with a volume from 8 to 14 liter. The panniers are 37 liter and if i go with 2 people on the bike i need that storage. Topcase has a volume of 38 liters and i use that for light stuff.
Riding the Stelvio without panniers and topcase the bike is very stable even at high speed, but with the panniers and topcase the Stelvio is shaking his tail if you go for high speed. But that is very normal compare to the width of it.
Naked or fully packed it is a joy to ride countryroads and hairpins in both touring- and sporty style.

Ciao........Louis

Very tidy solution for more storage.

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

Indeed! (Bags-Connection.de make good products, as far as I know)

It also reminds me a bit of this ;)

Neither???? That is just flat out stupid. I was interested in an ABS version with the new rear rim.......this sucks.

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

Stupid, or clever. It must be cheaper for them to make you come get 'em at the factory, rather than having a distribution and all in the States ;)

Maybe cheaper for them but it kinda makes it a little expensive for us over here. Who knows, maybe they will ship in 10 bikes next week.

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

Sure, but it almost makes sense for an adventure bike, no? Added value: the adventure of the whole process of getting one ;)
(besides, if you've seen what some European members pay in taxes, one could probably ship a Stelvio to the States with those amounts...!)

And that is exactly what I am investigating - except of course shipping to this sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains, of ragged mountain ranges, and of drought and flooding rains, and one day astride a Stelvio the far reaches shall I explore.

+1, Although it just makes it easier on me because I am not planning on another bike for a couple of years and this will keep the temptation at bay. I still REALLY want one now!

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

I've read that there are some minimal differences in the engine as well.
Engine has a different camshaft, revised airbox and new mapping. Torque is now 11.5 kgm@5800rpm instead of 10.5kgm@6300rpm.

This is the technical data (spanish, sorry.)

Re:Stelvio TT / NTX

No wonder the torque is up with 195mm pistons...
