Tuned and Synch'ed
Well I decided to get on to adapting the Griso to my liking. Bought a Mistral pipe and some Pazzo Levers. The pipe sounds great and the bike seems to run OK, although with the dB killer out it will backfire sometimes - at low speed, downhill in a tail wind
The only wrinkle is that the pipe doesn't clear the Hepco Becker (Junior) bag hangers - see pics. Another 1/2 inch less clearance and there would have been no way!
I'm thinking I may have to bend either the end of the Mistral or the Y pipe down and fab a new hanger bracket. I'm open to any other ideas. I have tried to loosen everything but there isn't enough play to do any good.
On a trouble free note the Pazzo levers are the sack! The were pretty easy to install except for the @$#^%$^ gunk M-G uses as "threadlock" on the clutch lever bushing. The levers bring the clutch and the brake back to a comfortable position nearer the bar, which was one of my pet peeves.
Once I get the pipe sorted it's on to adjust the suspension!
