My 07 Norge seems to be twitchy under me. I'll be riding down the road and it will feel like its pivoting to the left on the longitudinal axis under me. Not the vertical axis. Like someone kicked both tires from underneath me. Almost like it trying to fall off the road profile of the tire. Like trying to fall over. I've thought maybe the road surface but I've ridden my other bikes over those roads and not felt that sensation. My tire pressures are F38 R 42. Could it be the tire profile or the tire pressures? Is it suspension related? Another rider who rides a ST 1300 said he didn't feel it at all. Bike felt very planted. BTW he loved the Norge and the way it handles. He's talking about finding one himself. Any suggestions about the cause and or the cure would be helpful. I love the bike. :D

How about some more info, like make and brand of tires, miles on tires and bike. Any uneven wear? Suspension stock or aftermarket? Suspension settings? - etc. Has it always done this? Does it happen only on this road?

Double check tire pressure factory spec, the Breva is 36F/41R.

Any loose bearings at steering head and swing arm?

I also have a buddy that may be a convert, he just bought a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, and he liked the Breva in the twisties better. For me, the Sprint required much more effort than the Breva.

Check the rear wheel CARC bearing, they fitted plastic bearings in some early models. Put bike on center stand and from LHS try to lift the rear wheel with one hand while pushing the top of the wheel away from you with the other. There should be little or no movement.

Had the same happen on my sport - turned out to be the rear wheel bolts worked their way loose - 3500 km after a tyre change. Can't blame anyone else as I removed and replaced both wheels around getting tyres "professionally" fitted. Shame about the marks on the rims...

The scary thing was I went on a trip of 2000 + km and managed some pretty high speeds in the process of loosening the bolts

Lesson learned - DOUBLE CHECK THE WHEEL BOLTS!
