My dealer /twitch /twitch told me that MG is going to be importing the 8v SE to the states next year! :woohoo:

I just wish the SE came with wave rotors....

Have you tried different pads yet Pete? I usually get about 10-12K miles on fronts, but mine are still at 75% left at that mileage. I'd think a softer pad may give a lot more bite??

IIRC, Pete’s Griso Verde has EBC Extreme Pro pads in the front anchors. Should be sufficient enough to slow him down

Any mention of when?

Next year meaning '11?

He said next year at the end of November, and I assume that meant 2011 but I didn't ask specifically.

Spoke with my dealer today. He has a green SE coming in February. It now has my name on it, although technically, this will be the wife's bike.

:)

Hell, I got a 06 griso, and still on original front pads since new now at 60k km's

I've seen a few ads on the internet of USA dealers offering the 1200 8V SE, all seem to be Tenni green. Anyone know if the alternate color (Mandello Russo -red) will be offered Stateside?

According to my dealer, Corsa Italiana, the red SE has been dropped. There was a picture on the Guzzi website a while back but now Tenni green is the only option. :D
