As we rode into Kanab, we saw a few Model T Fords driving around town. But this was the tip of the iceberg - there were 202, yes, two hundred and two Model T Fords.

Throughout the day, they pootled around town, honking those geese-like squeeky horns as people waved at them.

This is one passing our motel

On Sunday, the town held a picnic in the park where all the cars were lined up for viewing and the owners were delighted to tell visitors all about these old cars

Not all the vehicles were gleaming though

There was a competition for the best hood ornament (it was actually the radiator cap)

The parade was fantastic. The cars were crossing and recrossing the two main roads. It felt like the town had been transported back into the 1920s

It has been a great 3 day rest. Yesterday we went for a cooked brekky. Mgman is not a big eater, so he went for the 'light' breakfast...

When he ordered ONE pancake, he didn't expect a spaceship. But he had to eat it, because the waitress was making sure of it - check out the holster

And they don't mess around with renegades in this town...

Next, we went shopping. I couldn't persuade magman to purchase these fashion accessories

Note the label; this great shirt even has GM on it - Guzzi Man. perhaps?

We strolled around town; Kanab is also known as 'Little Hollywood' as more than 70 movies have been shot here, The town is proud of this, so the main street is lined with posters

We returned to the motel and did some prep for the next day's ride. Our boots were looking pretty scruffy.
