V11 Cafe Sport - where's the neutral switch?

The neutral light is intermittent, and I'd like to try cleaning the sender switch. I've located it's *general* area after reading the V11Lemans forum, where someone said that it's below the starter at the rear of the transmission. I took a picture of the general area, and saw only one wire leading upwards from a connector that looks like a miniature spark plug cap. Is this the lead from the neutral sender?

This is my first time trying to send a pic, and I have no idea whether I did this right!

Yes that is it. The unit provides a ground path for the neutral light thus only one wire is needed.
 
Remember to be ready to plug the hole when you remove it or gearbox oil will start weeing out (learnt from experience- D'oh!)
 
Yeah, others have said that also :silly:

I think I'll just live with this until it's time to change the transmission oil. Only a couple thousand miles away...
