I have an '04 V11 Sport with the factory Ti exhaust and ECU, with a Stucchi crossover. The bike has what I would describe as a "lean stumble" at around 3K rpm. I have heard the best solution is a PowerCommander with the appropriate map. However, before spending the money for the PowerCommander I would appreciate it if anyone with experience with this exhaust system can provide their insights on solutions for the problem. Thanks!

Jim

I had a similar experience with my 2003 Rosso Corsa that was equipped from the dealer with the Ti mufflers and Race Kit ECU.At 3000 rpm it would surge and bang in the exhaust indicating excessive richness.I cured it with a PC111 power commander that I purchased from Todd Eagan and took the bike to a Dyno jet tuning center where they wrote a custom map for that unit and I haven't had a need to recalibrate the bike since.I did that in 6/2004.The tuning center I used was K&N Competiton Cycle in Sapulpa,OK.I never had a pre-programmed map that worked worth a damn for me.I personally encourage taking to the dyno guys and see exactly what it's doing.Hope all works out for no matter which way you go.

I have an 03 Rosso Corsa and when I added the Ti exhaust and ecu the bike improved greatly. I had some issues with pinging but after using a the "micha" at MI method of setting up the TPS it runs great. There is a great deal of info at the V11 LeMans site.
