Well... it won't start!
At first there was no spark and no gas in the cylinders/on the spark plugs.
I cleaned the (very dirty) carbs, dusted of the ignition, points, cleaned the fuses/fuse rack, rinsed out the tank.
Nothing. At one point a very low puff-puff for something like 2-3 seconds, but no real PUFF!
I measured the compression 171 and 158, which seems OK to me...?
Plugs are new, and they get gas/wet when cranking the engine. After the clean up, I get nice, fat sparks on both sides.
I set the ignition timing as per manual (the simple way, not with a timing gun thingy). I had the top caps of the cylinder, to make sure I was at TDC when doing the timing. I think I got it pretty good.
Oh Guzzi Lords... What can I do? What am I doing wrong? Any common mistakes? Any ideas?
